no i still think half mass should be used to honor people and not promote accidents

But if they did that then it would give a clear signal to people at the park there was something that happened and it would decrease their trust in the park's safety.  Not all accidents make the news you know... Oh well, I guess that would make for shorter lines for the rest of us...
