Shouldn't the Democrats accept more responsibility for our nation?

Consider the following:

8 of 10 of our largest cities have Democrat Mayors and liberal city councils. 30 of our states have Democrat Governors. The majority of our nation's citizens live along both costs, which are currently under very liberal local and state governments. We have a Democrat-led Congress.

My point is this; shouldn't the liberals therefore take more of the responsibility for the current state of our nation?

Yes,absolutely they should but i have never hear one Liberal except anything but freebies and to raise taxes.

Oh please, the country was run into the ground by Bush and the Republican administration. Do you really think that Congress can fix the mess he's left behind in just a year or two?

h**l, not even the NEXT president, whoever it will be, will be able to fully cancel all the negative effects from the Bush administration. It'll take years, possibly decades.

Therefore, shouldn't YOU Republicans/conservatives step forward and actually take responsibility?

Yes they should.. People tend to forget that it wasn't just Bush that got us into Iraq but the votes in Congress as well. So both Democrat and Republican can share that blame. What people seem to forget that having a choice between Democrat and Republican isn't really a choice at all if they continue to do what they want to do instead of what the American People want to do.

We must start to follow the US Constitution which Both parties say they hold dear but as you can see both parties don't mind pissing on it while there in office. Both Parties deserve equal share of the blame for the state of the United States. The state of the Economy is due to banks giving out loans to people they knew could not afford it. However when you look at congress to see them both Democrat and Republican getting special offers. Or Lobbyist from Credit card companies who continue to rob Americans with High interest and fee;s and make obscene profits. Both Parties are a disgrace to the what the founding fathers intended for this Country

Fact: Democratic Majority Congress has a 9% approval rating, lowest, ever.

The democratic majority in particular should take next to FULL responsibility for doing absolutely nothing they promised to get into office.

No! Are you nuts????? Their idea of responsibility is, to MAKE the elected government MAKE hard-working taxpayers pay for their health-care, and welfare!

Just tell them the truth. Their pity-party are the ones that started borrowing from Social Security, and their tax and spend programs caused America to go into debt.

Now everyone knows liberals can never take responcibility for things that go wrong in their lives. It's after all George Bushes fault (sar).

The first part of his administration GW was faced with dealing with a falling economy, then an attack on the US. Through all of this he managed better then a Democrat would. I don't like a lot of the things he did. But I hate what the Dems are doing. This war would have been over 3 years ago if it wasn't for the peaceful Democrats and their willingness to sell out the US because of an Image that they do not like. Their desention provides insentive to those willing to kill us to continue.

Just ask Joe Biden. His mom told him to bloody the nose of any one that  would bully you... I think I'll vote for his mom.

It's all Bush's fault.  Their poverty stricken cities and ghettos are as a result of the Republicans, having nothing to do with something called 'personal responsibility' and of course the complete lack of responsibility.  Now, homeland security is on it's way to meet with the loser, er .. Mayor of New Orleans to advise him as to how to handle another potential hurricane.  Did he learn anything from the first one?  I have my doubts but if it does hit, perhaps we won't have school buses floating down the streets and maybe they'll be used for evacuation like they should have been, the first time around.

These people thrive on government dependency because that's all they know.  Now they want to drag the rest of us into the gutters with them.

Democratic does not equal liberal.  Just as Republican does not equal conservative.  I also imagine that it will take decades to clean up the mess the republicans have made in just the last decade.
