Shouldn't the NFL season start on Labor Day weekend?

its a perfect weekend to start the season with your fam and the last summer vacation, dont you think?

at your bbq, football on Sunday and Monday nite, the family and their team.... your rival's fans and you.... everybody yelling and rooting for their favorites...with a full belly! yeah man!

  3. I agree. It seems so natural to do that. Yet the NCAA asked the NFL to delay the start of the season one week so they could cash in on the labor day ratings.

    I remember when the NFL sis start on Labor Day weekend and Monday Night Football was the most watched program that week. Now the NCAA wants to play a meaningless ACC or SEC or some other amateur garbage instead so that they can get the ratings and the revenue to go with it then c**p on the fans when the national championship game is played.
