  1. they shouldn't. republika serpskaja is made as an artificial creation as a result of serbian genocide over Bosnians, it's artificial like Frankenstein was, build over the dead bodies of woman and children, killed by serbian cowards, in their sick attempt to change one of the oldest borders in Europe, border in river Drina, which divided Roman Empire and Byzantine since 395 year after Jesus, long time before serbians who were considered as a barbarians by Romans invade the Balkan peninsula. since their invasion, Balkan lost

her place in Europe as a cultural center.nothing deserves to last when it's build on genocide, and I'm sure that Dayton agreement will be changed, making Bosnia functional state, where no creation as ''republika serpskaja'' will exist.

  2. Yes, it should, because it has been Serbian before and because Serbs are the majority in the Republic of Srpska. And I hope it will, and soon too. I can see no reason why other parts of the unfortunate country that ex Yugoslavia was can be granted rights to self determination and the Serbs not. More or less, Srpska already has very strong ties with Serbia - through economy and free trade, but most importantly through common history of the Serbs living outside Serbia proper.

@ConfusedMe: you almost confused me - what's that place called Shtime in Kosovo? Never heard of it. You almost made me cry with that sad story of your cousin. Have you seen it in a movie? Serbs never had militiamen in Kosovo, my dear; only regular Army units and regular/SU of the Ministry of Interior. Both extremely professional.

Yes, but where's Shtime? You haven't answered that....

And you should be only fair to use the dual language name for us Serbs who can't speak your language. It is in our country after all.

  3. No, it should not join Serbia. It's too messy of a situation. It's exactly the same as Mitrovica in Kosovo wanting to break off to join Serbia. At least there, in an unspoken agreement Serbs are buy Albanian homes in the north, while Albanians are buying Serb homes in the south. It's still going to be very difficult for the southern half of Kosovo to survive without being a part of a larger country. In 20 years it won't matter whether they are separate or not, because it'll look more like the US where Europe is comprised of states that just happen to speak different languages.

Vote_USA - have you ever been to Kosovo? I doubt it. The massacre outside of Shtime was definitely not a lie. I suppose the attempted rape of my cousin by a serbian militiaman was a lie too?!

  4. Let's first see what Bosnia is:

    Today

Bosnia is composed of three groups of peoples: Serbs, Croats and Muslims. The Muslims control the country, while the groups control within their territories. The Muslims are backed up by NATO and Middle East countries which find interest in the existence of Bosnia. Thus, Serbs and Croats are being kept by force into the same borders with the Muslims. There is economic functionability in Bosnia between the three, but the war has brought alot of hatred which can not be forgotten in the near future because it is a one way penalty system against the Serbs which are being kept under constant political vigilance.

    Yesterday

Bosnia was created in the mids of the civil war in Yugoslavia. The war exploded when the Muslim leader Izetbegovic turned down the peace plan of confederation set by Portuguese Jose Cutiliero (some Swiss type confederation) he priorly accepted, after having a briefing with Zimmerman, US embassador in Belgrade. The Americans created Bosnia to compensate some political tensions with Middle East countries (Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia).

There were four sides in the war: two Muslim (Avdic, Izetbegovic), Serbs and Croats. The Avdic Muslims were allies with the Serbs. The Izetbegovic Muslims were backed up by NATO (which practically manipulated UN) and Middle East countries, but the Serbs were militarily quite powerful. Thus, the Muslims lost almost the double the Serbs lost in lives (total of around 100,000 deaths). The Serbs ended loosing the war.

    Tomorrow

There is no tomorrow to this sickness.

    Conclusion

Bosnia is a sick artificial country created for pure political reasons and on the unnecessary blood of 100,000 people, traumas and depleted uranium. One entire nation (Serbs) have never wanted to live with the other from the first day, and simply wanted to stay where they were.

Legally, Bosnian boundaries within Yugoslavia were adminstrative, so there has been no legal (I mean international law, not NATO law) impedance for the Serbs to decide their own fate after the Muslims have decided their own fate (unless the Muslims have decided that their fate was to live with the Serbs lololololololol)

    lolol

:) - We all remember a similar old Yugoslav joke.

So, the Bosnian Serbs should be able to decide their own fate, being that to join, remain or not with the Serbs of Serbia.

But, there is a problem... The problem is NATO. International justice is a sad picture of bullied logic. Double standards are political reality. International law is gray.

added: goxy, Confused is playing us a joke here. She (or he, whatever it is, because if you check "it"'s replies...) is comparing Bosnia to Kosovo and trying to bring a logical parallel of political interdependence for the final solution ("voda na svoju vodenicu" system). It dug out some local happening (Shtime) and drew out a global worldsolver with a respectful ridiculous conclusion that Bosnian Serbs should not decide their own fate because of some dead Albanian terrorists in Shtime and perhaps some "collaterals" (I borrowed this term from NATO - I appologize in advance for using their system). How bizarre.

Simply said: "It's exactly the same as Mitrovica in Kosovo wanting to break off to join Serbia." is either a sign of political idiotism or comes from the possition that we all here are stupid enough to buy this. I wonder where did "it" get it anyway. Perhaps "it" got it from the NATO trend of Bosnia and Kosovo in the same "trick or treat" problem solving package.

Well, I do feel empathy for anyone tortured by Serb policemen. I struggle through that every day. Just that putting the whole cause-effect concept of the escalation of war caused by NATO, into the di.. of some horny Serb seeking relief for being sent there instead of staying home with his family, is judgementally not proper.

And to end, let's all watch great videos which tell us why Muslims and Serbs can not coexist peacefully, and perhaps if you read the comments under the videos, you get why I'm saying this...:

  5. Of course it should!

  6. No.

But the Kosovars should not be able to steal a big chunk of Serbia over lies of a "genocide".

THAT is one of the biggest tragedies of our time.

  7. i think no...

    why should it...?

  8. I'm sorry to say that nobody in America that I know has any clue what the situation in Serbia or Bosnia is at the moment. It's not the "hot" topic. American minds are completely controlled by a media that only reports what will make them money. The hot topic is Iraq. Afghanistan is old news ,The Serbian Genocide is ancient history ,and the media hasn't mentioned Vietnam like it is an actual country in years. The American mindset sees "Vietnam"  as a war that happened a long time ago.Nobody thinks about the big business scene and how we are giving tremendous power and monetary resources to communist/slave labor countries. The only thing the majority of Americans can fathom is what happened that day on the news. The past is the past and the present gets our attention. We do not plan for the future , we leave that up to greedier people with more money."Today on the evening news" is the headline people are force feed every night before they presumably get the "scoop" on what is up with this world. The truth is that we have no clue. The american lifestyle is not up for negotiation and the less we know the easier it is on our collective consciuosness to just look the other way, as we fuel the destruction of our planet , our people ,and our souls.

  9. First of all, it's Republika Srpska.

If Kosovo gets independence, than Republika Srpska have every right too for self determination. To join Serbia, Mars, Jupiter or Moon. It would be based on the same criteria - majority of it's population wants that, and there is certain territorial and political autonomy, given in 90ees (same autonomy given to Kosovo within Serbia during Tito time).

Anyway, there is political consensus today among serbian politicians and people of Republika Srpska to stay within Bosnia and Herzegovina, but only if current position will be maintained. It's not problem, given the fact that our government have it's own budget, parliament, president, etc...

Note:Bosnia is not occupied by Serbs as someone said. I am really amazed how people can be ignorant but yet keen to answer on questions that are obviously way beyond their understanding. I understand that it is easy to simplify things by claiming that Serbs came from Serbia in 90ees and occupied Bosnia, but for the love of the God people: Serbs always lived in Bosnia, long before Turks/muslims came here.  As aggressors, just for the record.

  10. Why should it? When Yugoslavia was formed it was decided that Bosnia and Hercegovina will be a separate territory with equal rights as the other states. So now, after the separation they are a real country. Serbs have occupied a part of Bosnia, but that doesn't give them the right to succeed and join Serbia.

  11. Nothing should join Serbia.  Serbia should be isolated for eternity.

  12. Of course it should,it is consisted of 100% Serbs,it is bordering Serbia,it has all reasons to become a part of Serbia.Glory to Serbia and Russia!Glory to Orthodox nations!

  13. Well, it is still heavily populated by the Bosnians.  I doubt that anyone at this point would agree to boarder changes, especially with this dispute.
