Shouldn't the coaches get gold medals also?

Especially team sports like vollyball and basketball. Shouldnt those coaches also get a gold medal? I know most of it are players but wouldnt it be right to give the coaches medals?

I think the coaches should get the medals. The coach is part of the team and the players don't coach themselves.

Well, if the coaches got medals along with the teams, then coaches for individual sports should get them too.  None of these athletes have gotten where they are without their coaches.

i think they should get a medal b/c its a group effort and they are part of the group plus i would really like it cause i want to coach an olympic team and that would b the only way i could ever get a medal
