We could live forever; of course this would have to change the way we think of reproduction, life insurance, medical problems, and would just change so many aspects of who we are today but it will happen if it can anyway. Shouldn't we gain the intelligence now before other countries do and make us wish we did.

  1. yES WE SHOULD BUT NOT TO BEAT OTHER NATIONS I THINK WE SHOULD DO IT TO FIND CURES FOR PARALYSIS AND HIV AND ALL THE DEADLY DISEASES FOR WHICH THEIR ISNT NO CURE NOW...

  2. I don't think 'living forever' is coming along anytime soon.

Although keeping people from having to suffer horribly from preventable or curable diseases is possible.

If only we could get rid of the fundimentalist christian aspect of our federal govt. that is blocking it.

  3. Other countries already are... China and Brazil to name just two.  And institutions that are not government supported as well are. even here in the US...... Like Howard Hughes Medical Center.

And The United States will too----when we are no longer governed by Fundamentalistic Religious Jesus Freaks.

Interestingly, Mr. Bush has only two children.  And so far, none of those children have any of their own.  Do you think he and his wife have used birth control?

What he allows his wife and himself to enjoy.... a limited family......  he denies to the poor women of other countries, because it is "politically incorrect."

As an example, when I was in Nepal, that government was encouraging couples to plan their families.  And the government sponsored posters all around Katmandu.  Up to that point, Nepal, a very poor crowded country received foreign aid from the US.  Mr. Bush ended it as soon as he found out.... .  We, and our guide were shocked.

  4. living forever is a far way off yet but its theoretically possible.

yes, stem cell research should be allowed as it could cure diseases very easily.

but the religious nuts are against it. there are too many stupid people in this world

  5. no i wouldnt want to live forever!! lol.... but isnt that stem cell research like good for curing cancer... i agree with that but i would deffently not want to live forever! lol

  6. yea,i wouldnt want to live forever but i know it can cure illness and that would be somthing worth using it for

  7. We should. (But just so you know, living forever is theoretically impossible.) As a nation we are still the farthest ahead in the field of stem cell research, mostly because of privately based companies.
