  1. I dont' think that anything should be eliminated from the olympics becauseit is all in the name of ultimate competition on the highest level and that includes anything so long as it is to be competed at  at the highest level and those that compete in those events are the very best in the world at those events. so no.

  2. No.  This is just your own opinion, and I hate to say it, but it's a result of being brainwashed by your media.  Badminton and table tennis are relatively popular sports around the world, especially in Asia and to a lesser extent Europe.  Badminton requires endurance, table tennis requires reflexes, and both require wrist work.  Walking is not so easy when you can very easily get disqualified for having both feet off of the ground.  It takes a lot of mental concentration and physical endurance to keep this up for tens of kilometers.  Synchronized swimming requires flexibility and the ability to freely swim through the water.

Darts is not very popular worldwide, and XBox games are just a joke.  No need to state your opinions so strongly, because these events don't affect you directly anyways.

  3. Haha, Xbox.

We should eliminate badminton, sailing, table tennis, archery, BMX, Equestrian.

  4. it's so great that some people don't get to make these decisions... /sigh.

  5. **** these subjective competitions.  Gymnastics, diving, synchronized anything, etc are ART FORMS not "sports".  I don't think they belong in the olympics until some kind of objective scoring can be done.  I say, put mo-cap trackers on their wrists, ankles, and necks.  A computer can then be the judge.  Get the sport to be judged objectively and it's all good.

    Judged sports cause problems.

  6. Wats badminton? I didn't even know ping-pong was a sport in the olympics or walking. THEY BOTH SHOULD REALLY GO!!!

  7. They do eliminate some sports, but many are there so they can have every country have a shot at participating. Some sports are very big in other countries - there is something for everyone.

If you don't like it, change the channel.

  8. They're all great sports with talented people. What's your talent, sitting on your butt?

  9. Is walking seriously a sport in the Olympics? Ping pong is hilarious; if they can have table tennis maybe they should have foosball (table soccer). Or billiards or something like that.

  10. I think anything that has to be JUDGED should be out

Gymnastics, synchronized everything, and Boxing where their scoring is a joke

Let the Olympics be about direct competition

    not arbitrary opinions
