Shouldn't we just go ahead and bomb the heck out of Iran to send a message to rogue countries and tyrants?

Negotiations with Iran about nuclear bomb production has been going on for six year and they just spit in the faces of the U.S., EU and UN. What should we do? Keep on negotiating with a brick wall?

Any bombing should be "surgical" (hitting the nuke facilities only), not "bombing the heck" out of the whole country.  I hope that is what you mean.

One of our country's stated goals is "liberty and justice for ALL".  The concept of accepting "collateral damage" is a slap in the face to that goal.   Until we have effective nonlethal weapons, we should take all reasonable precautions to avoid destroying innocent lives.

And we should never just accept the lack of effective nonlethal weapons.   We need to both defend ourselves and be just to everyone.

You can't just bomb whoever you want because you don't like them or disagree with their government. However, if a country, such as Iran or North Korea, present a threat to America's interests or security, then h**l yeah, we'll bomb them, invade them, and convert them into an ally. However, war sucks, and the above listed countries are extremely unstable. We may be able to get the same result from them collapsing without the deaths. Iran can't nuke America, but they can nuke Israel, who in turn will turn Iran into lake Iran. America, being Israel's ally, will have to help. China and Russia may or may attack America for using nukes. Iran with a nuke could lead to WW3, but invading Iran Could lead to many US casualties. It will stretch our forces thin (with no draft) but will stretch our enemies just as thin. Right now, an invasion is not necessary, but in the near future it is likely.

Well...Look at where we are at with Iraq...So no we shouldn't bomb them...We have fronts in Iraq, Afghanistan and for all intents and purposes in Korea.

No country in history has been able to win a war on two fronts with conventional warfare. The only reason we won WW2 is because we developed the bomb. Had we not and had we not dropped it we would have had to sue for peace with Japan.

We currently are fighting on two fronts with little allied support and next to no war effort here at home. We have bases accross the globe that we have to support...So why open yet another front elsewhere....Time for others to step up to the plate. We need to finish what we have started elsewhere...

You do not kill the entire neighborhood because one of the children said a bad word. Can USA afford to engage in another war? Is USA trying to find a plan B to hang onto a central station in Middle east? Why USA should be policing any country when she has enough problems within? Is the world just as concerned about Iran as USA? Let other countries volunteer in keeping the world wide spread freedom. freedom in this country means permission to do evil and lessons in how to get away with it. Please enough hypocrisy.

bombing the s#!t out of a country just simply won't work... if kim jong il 2cd or even a "rational minded" nation observes such harsh and quick reactions from the U.S. what stopping them from saying "see i told you so... America just bullies the rest of the world and we must defend ourselves before they bomb us next!"..........so such an action could, in fact, have a reverse affect (or effect, i have no idea) than you're hoping for.........by the way... this obviously didn't work with Iraq, vietnam, Korea, the crusades, germany in WWII, germany in WWI....the list goes on
