  1. POR SUPUESTO QUE SI

  2. Hey...Then we can all be Obamabots!

  3. Sounds like a great idea!!!

  4. are you serious???

  5. we don't need an official language at all

  6. h**l no, i mean nueve.

  7. Absolutely not! This country was founded on English and it should be what is official and spoken. To do otherwise would be like spitting on everything our founding fathers and our vets have done here. I refuse to even entertain such a traitorous, disrespectful, anti American idea.

  8. LMAO.... yeah and we should make it illegal free too!

  9. Considering that we stole 1/3 of the country from Mexico, that might be just desserts.

  10. wtf h**l NO.

    majority of Americans speak English.

so why should we benefit the illegal latinos by speaking spanish for them?

i will not bring myself down like that.

if i want to learn another language it will be German.

  11. that caters to the minority and when the minority chooses the direction for the majority we call that oppression.

  12. Making Spanish the USA's official language would be impossible. But no, there is no reason to change the U.S's primary language because it keeps diversity alive. South America already has many Spanish speaking countries.

  13. Why just to please the ILLEGALS. No But h**l No.

  14. The Chinese, Indians, etc. would gripe about that.

  15. In NYC ballots for voting are available in Spanish.

Anybody that can't speak English shouldn't be voting in any election in this country.

  16. How about Arabic.  The way things are going, we may need to be speaking Arabic.

  17. No.  This is the United States of America.

    Our language is English.

Its the language of the Constitution.  The Bill of Rights.  The Declaration of Indepedence.

    English--its our language.

If you wish to live or work here....learn it.  Use it.

  18. Yep! Or it should be the official second language!!! Just like India has English and Hindi! After all Spanish is Spoken by half of the world and Spain! It is a beautiful and romantic language!

  19. Wow.. No, and not because I'm racist or anything. Its because I failed Spanish 2x in High school and I would be screwed lmao

  20. h**l NO!

    Plain enough?

  21. no that would be counter productive and put us back 200 years in progress causing a world wide depression for 89 years

  22. You have GOT to be kidding!

My paternal great grandparents immigrated from Poland in the early 1900s and they learned English immediately upon citizenship.

My maternal grandparents immigrated from Sicily in the 1920s and they learned English immediately upon citizenship.

Both families spoke their native tongue in their household only because it was what they were accustomed to, and they wanted to preserve their heritage, but they knew that becoming Americans meant acclimating themselves to the ways of this mighty nation and that meant LEARNING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, which is the Universal language and the one most spoken around the globe.

For people to want to come here and NOT want to learn the language is in my opinion UNACCEPTABLE and  UNPATRIOTIC!

  23. From the1600's untill 1836 Spanish was the official language in Texas---what's the big deal???
