Shouldn't we salute Laxman and Sachin for playing for team despite injuries ?

Even though seniors have totally failed in Series,I want to bow down to their fighting spirit,patriotism and sincerity.If any player other than Laxman and tendulkar was playing,Then India would have lost match yesterday itself.But Laxman and Sachin,Forgetting their injuries are playing because they know then cannot go down without a fight.It is their sincerity and love for country becaue of which they are respected by players all over the world.

No..Every player has played with an injury sometime with in their cricket careers.Why should these 2 be treated like King's...

Hats off to Laxman and Sachin. But the image of Kumble in the Caribbean with a bandaged head (for a dislocated jaw) will not be replaced from my mind for bravery.

For Bravery on field, the 1970 Soccer World cup Semifinal vs Italy, which went into extra time; During first half of extra time Franz Beckenbauer was fouled and he injured his shoulder badly. But he played till the end with a dislocated shoulder and his arm heavily strapped (Germany had already used up all their substitutions). but these guys doing it just because they simply cant let selectors know they are too old and injury prone

for laxman i can salute... he may change d game today... but sachin i cant.... with this injury he didnt made any miracle..... he played as usual.

how can we salute. if some other players r there they can also do this.

i should salute if he made a statement "i dont want to play this final match , i am in out of form, i am giving opportunity to young one".

yes, they have a fighting spirit, we shouldn't forget their contribution, i hope Dravid and Laxman stick to wicket and make these people's life misery however i find it difficult with the combo of Mahela, Mendis and Doctrove operating in synchronisation!

I think all players do it at some time, so it's not unusual. They need not have played, so it was their own choice & doesn't merit any special mention.
