This is crazy don't you think, he wasn't malicious, just browsing around.......If i was the US gov then id be happy a guy like this discovered these holes in there security and not someone who could have used it to do real damage. 1. I agree, that is ridiculous..... yet meanwhile here in Britain a paedo is allowed to walk free while his terrified victim has boarded herself indoors, apparently too scared to leave the house in case she sees him again.

What the f*** is going on with our legal system?!

  2. Well I can just see this happening.

CIA, well do you want to take the 70 years, or do you want to work for us.

  3. Browsing around? Bullsh*t, the guy caused hundreds of thousands of dollars damage to government computers in the aftermath of 9-11. If someone broke into your home, and damaged all your property because you left the door unlocked, would you be thanking them? I mean, it could've been a murderer, right? Wrong, this guy is guilty of a crime, and should be punished. The only job he's going to have is sucking Bubba's d*ck in prison. Dude, he claims he was looking for UFO's! So, not only is he a criminal, but also a lunatic. You should be thankful he will be locked up. He should never have crossed the Feds in the first place: F*ck with the Bull, and you get the horns!

  4. Sure he'd make a great hacker for the government, by hacking other govenments.  By doing it to your own govenment it is called  TREASON, doing it to other is called keeping a watch on your neighbours.  Crime is a crime is a crime no matter who you are and how small the crime is suppose to be.  And this one was not SMALL, it could have turned his head and he could have gotton into all sorts of goodies and made himself a nice little nest.

  5. Mr McKinnon made the US look stupid and proved how incompetent they were.   He even told them how to plug the loopholes and, would you believe, suggested to them that they actually use passwords!   How embarrassing.

They should thank him, fire their useless 'experts' and offer him the position of doing the job properly.

As far as I know, the US does not allow extradition of its citizens, so how can they expect another country to do that?    Perhaps Britain should demand that the US co-operate on the illegal killing of Terry Lloyd and his news team by the US military, which they refuse to do.

  6. How would you feel if this stupid hacker managed to get into your personal details ie bank account etc. and with a brain like he had he could not even bother to get a job. Lazy git

  7. Strange how some people are extradited quicker than certain others.

  8. Yes,

Sure could get a job, maybe yahoo will employ him, now that his in custody they could pay him almost nothing.  Soon US prisons will have workshops on computers and the state be able to give prisoners out as cheap labour to multi billion dollar companies as they do for others it seems from the movies.

You know that a terrorist is in the eyes of a government anyone that causes hassle for any part of the US government. Soon over there not paying you parking fines will be seen as a terrorist act.

  9. Dude's awesome

  10. Should get a job and a medal. The world is weird.
