Show appreciation to my family?

I'm 17 and I recently went through a really tough time, and going to my room made it worse because of memories. My mom decides to completely re-do it (carpet and everything, and no, i didn't ask for it or mope around until she offered or anything) and my dad, brother and sister are helping A LOT. I really want to show them how much I appreciate it. I thought about ordering this specific cake that my family goes nuts over but I'd prefer my appreciation not be edible. Haha. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. =]

IS there somewhere that is 'special' to your family, maybe something you all love to do togeher... hiking, picnics, BBQ at a park? Plan it, take care of the food plans, everything... then send them each a card to invite them to you "Appreciation Party!" (Hey- why not, I am sure they have been invited to 'Pitty Party's before!

plan a movie night just for them, rent a favorite movie for the whole family, make popcorn some snacks and have them sit back and watch the show. your parents will love this i'm sure.
