I thought the London show at Beijing was very representative of London, in that there were hardly any white people.

  1. I'm so sorry, but I'd have to agree with Melbourne Boi- China's show at Athen's Closing Ceremony was a million times better and it reflected how excited they were that the Olympics were finally coming to their turf.

I'm am extremely sure that London feels the same way (excited and happy) about the Olympics coming to them in 2012, but their show at Beijing was too dull and plain to reflect it.  They could've done a better job portraying all that London has to offer- culture, arts, theatre, literature... etc... the British have a rich history of that and more and I saw nothing but typical double-decker buses and a few famous faces... sure it represented diversity/London city life, but LONDON (and the entire nation of Great Britain, for that matter) IS MORE THAN THAT!  They should've given their all into choreographing their preview show.

The Chinese at Athen's Closing Ceremony did way better at giving the world a preview into what their Olympics would be than London did at Beijing's Closing Ceremony.  I just hope London's Ceremonies would be so much better than what their preview gave the world, altough I must say the shows China gave us are definitely putting the pressure on London!  China did such a fabulous job with their shows!

Regardless, I look forward to 2012 in London!!!  YAY OLYMPICS!!!
