Question:

Show internet explorer icon on desktop?

mates icon has gone..i cant recall where the box is to tick and reload it back on the desktop...its windows xp...and i don't want a shortcut,i need the proper icon...thanks

  1. ok here goes, click on start, then all progammes, you will see it in there, just drag it onto the desktop screen and there u are, good luck  


  2. Go to START, PROGRAMS and you will see the icon.  You can right click on it and send it to desktop or you can drag it to your desktop.

  3. why not just use a shortcut? i believe all you gotta do is find internet explorer on your start menu then click and drag it back on the desktop right out of the start menu

  4. first go to the C: drive then to program files then click on the internet explorer file and u will see the pic of the icon copy the picture and past it on the desk top it will be not a short cut .....i have tried it and it works.please dont give me bad answer i try my best

  5. go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer there will be the main file of I.E.

    copy that and past that in your desktop

    right click on the desktop then Properties-Desktop -Arrange your desktop and in the dialog window mark the appropriate box

  7. from where do u access( from start menu) drag it to ur desktop

  8. Go to start mennu find the Internet Icon and then click ones and hold the click then dray it accross tot he desktop ;) Easy
