Show jumping competitions?

i am going to start leasing a horse so that i can start to compete in show jumping. i have had lessons but i have never competed in show jumping before so i would like to start do beginner novice competitions. anyone know of any competitions that will be around August 2008?

Where and what discipline? You might want to go to some local schooling shows at first, that way you can learn how to show  without spending tons of money.

Probably you should ask your trainer - he/she will know what competitions are going on in your area and if they are appropriate for you.

Well where do u live(state and town).I know of allot of jumper show in the states.You could do th pony club.Then pony club is good in eventing and show jumping
