ShowStopper competition?

do any of you dancers think that that is just a horrible competition. the awards, judging, wings. i hate it! and another question. their scores go silver, gold, platinum, double plat. is plat. just a high gold and double plat. a plat? im so confused on that!

personally i think most of those traveling talent competitions are really messed up. Its all about the money. The entry fees for a dancer like me who does a few groups, and a couple solos, could easily be over $250, and what do you get out of it? a crapy trophy along with everyone else. i dont support these scams, and i have stopped competing in them. But for the 2nd question i am a little confused, but if you cloud be a little more specific, then i would love to help!
