Question:

Shower curtain solutions help please?

We've just replaced a shower screen with a curtain and it's not too great. It hangs too far in the bath and sticks to you.

We looked at a curved rail to keep it ouside the bath but they were all too short.

I think a longer curtain may help as we could move the curtain further outside our bath.

Is there any type of curtain available that doesn't sort of bunch or ruffle but keeps straighter?

At the moment we have a spring loaded pole as it needs to be quite long.

I'm in the UK but any ideas most welcome.

Thanks.

  1. Most shower curtains come with little weights at the bottom of them, at least here they do. Therefore holding the curtain down and not letting it stick to you!

  2. Might try putting some small magnets along the bottom, the kind you stick on your ice box. Stick one on the inside and another on the other side to hols each other together. If you tub is made of iron, they should stick to the tub.

  3. I'd suggest a canvas or duck curtain -- it's heavy enough not to wrap itself around you, and is easily washable.

    just for grins:

  4. if you have a metal tub put a couple of magnets at bottom of curtain inside the tub

  5. Visit www.lltdcommodities.com  they sell an expandable curved one.

Also get the shower curtains with the magnets at the bottom or weights at the bottom that help them to stay off of your body.

I hate the curtains that is why we finally changed to doors on the shower.

    Good luck!

  6. They have shower curtains with magnets on the bottom.  It helps to weigh it down.  I also put a little water on the wall and stick the curtain to it.  That helps also.  But you have to release it after showers so it does not cause mold.

Good Luck, I hope this helps :)
