Shower in School

Question

i am staring 8th grade at middle school in Long Beach, NY and someone told me that you HAVE to take a shower there but I'm not sure.they might have been lying or joking

Do most middle schools have showers?

i'd like to hear from someone who's been to a LB middle school but anyone is fine I guess

Schools have showers. You do not have to shower, but you smell afterward. I like having PE last period, you can just go home that way.

You shouldn't be afraid to shower in front of other people at school, Just tell yourself that you are in there to clean the bacteria and germs of your body, It's Business/ personal Business They don't have anything that you don't have, and if they say anything, Just tell them, If you look at girls that way then you might get a date, so shut up! or, Is that all you do is look at guys, come on this is a shower room! and say it like you mean it, You will be all right, beside that, Sometimes you just have to reach down there and grab ahold and see if they are still there, and then use them, You're a man don't ever be ashamed of that!!

Almost in any Jr. High or high school , if you take PE , then you are asked to shower . Most kids comply , but some do not and of course they are the smelly ones in class . Requirements call for you to take a shower after PE or gym class , but it is not a big thing at all . Just like taking a shower at home with lots of comapany .

Showers are available but not a must, you have the option of whether or not to use it.  I always did but only bc i didnt like to smell all stinky and be sweaty after gym class.  No one watches you shower or looks at you naked...its not that big of a deal-- either you take a shower or you dont!!  I say do, or you might end up with the smelly girl award!

At my middle school,were ARENT allowed to take showers.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have to take a shower if you didn't want to. I mean, no one can make you if you're not comfortable with it and I'm sure the other people will feel the same way.  I always bring deodorant and your good. =]]
