  1. it will depend how much water ur has using but i recant it bath

    hope this help !!!!!!

  2. Shower uses less water if you take a normal 4-5 min shower and I prefer to use a shower head I can detach and turn off during soaping and shampooing. What ever you do shower or tub just make sure you take one soon. LOL

  3. ell it depends how long ur showers r...if they r longer than an hour than bath is better but if they r shorter than 30minutes,shower is better.

  4. It depends on how deep your bath is and how long you shower for...so it's almost impossible to answer this question. However, you can save water by using "Low Flow Shower Heads" as seen here... http://www.waterpikecoflow.com/

I use a shower all the time because I don't have a bath. Typically I shower from 5-10 minutes once a day and since normal shower heads use 12litres of water per minute, that's an average of 90litres per shower! (if showering for 7.5mins) I haven't yet got around to buying a low flow shower head.

It's amazing how much water people use without realizing it.

  5. well depends how long you run your shower for. but even if you take a bath you still need to wash your hair while showering.

so i would say that baths take more water up than showers.

and i take showers everyday maybe like once every 4 to 5 months i ll take a nice relaxing bath in my jacuzzi.

  6. depends on the length of you're shower and if you do choose shower you can get yourself a water saving sprayer.

  7. With an average shower, if you shower for longer than 15 minutes, then you are probably using more water than having a bath (although obviously it depends on bath depth too.) I have a quick shower almost every day, and probably have a bath about once every 3/4 months or something- I just don't have time! But they can be relaxing with bubbles and candles etc.. People always think that showers are better, so they think that a half an hour long shower is still better than a medium-filled bath, but that is not the case. You can get sand- timers that stick to the bathroom wall to time how long you shower (they are usually 5 minute ones) to reduce the amount of time you shower.

  8. A bath typically uses more water than the average shower.

Although I only take baths anymore, I would prefer to have a nice hot powerful shower.

I always leave my bathwater to stand in the tub overnight so that it releases all of the extra heat to help heat the house.

h**l, I've payed dearly for that energy to heat that water and I am not going to literally 'pour my money down the drain'!

I would not have done this 20 years ago when I was living in the tropics.

Back then you wanted to get rid of any excess heat as soon as possible to save on your air conditioning cost.

My wife takes regular showers, and leaves the plug in the drain so that the water can cool.

Her showers are typical 4 or 5 minute showers and typically leaves about 2 or 3 inches of water in the tub.

Even that little amount is enough to keep one room at a comfortable temperature for several hours even when it is near freezing point outside.

My wife likes to soak in a hot bath once a week and so I have mine after hers in the same water.

This is probably something which a lot of people would not consider doing for some strange reason however.

I'm still cleaner after the bath than I was before I went in, and after 16 years of doing this practice, I have not suffered any consequences.

Also I do NOT do this  to save the environment in any way but because I can not tolerate waste of any kind!

  9. It depends on how long of a shower you are taking and how big of a bathtub you have. I use the shower most frequently, but only for 10 minutes a day. I wish I could make it shorter, but I shower right as I wake up, so it's hard to stay awake. Hehe.

  10. A bath does

I take showers and as long as you try to be quick or have a low flow shower head your still being good to the environment

  11. In my oppion a shower uses more water because it is constintly flowing water while a bath uses the same water until you drain it. I take showers though.

  12. shower more, showers get you cleaner. They do the job quicker and they use less water.

  13. The average shower uses more water, although baths are pretty gross. Try to just cut down your shower time!

  14. depends on the length of the shower and depth of the bath, if you really want to "go green" you should take a sponge bath it only takes a bucket of water

i shower daily( baths are gross, its wallowing in your own filth)

  15. I would think a quick shower would use less than a bath.  But if you plan on shaving or relaxing under the water, a bath would probably use less water.  I shower more often than I bathe.

  16. bath uses the most water I think

bath is what I take most often
