I've been researching showing miniature shetlands in hand and was wondering whether the same rules apply for miniature shetlands as they do for shetland ponies or are the rules and turn outs different?

  1. A miniature Shetland should be turned out exactly the same as a standard Shetland.  The only difference between the two should be in the height; a miniature Sheltie is no more than 34 inches at maturity, and the standard is no more than 42 inches.  Aside from height, the breed standard and turnout are identical.
