  1. Toolboxes or sterlite containers are always awesome. Also, just having a tack stall and having a certain spot for EVERYTHING

  2. hey! i have the same problem when i go to shows. one REALLLLY easy thing to do is take a permanent marker and write what the product is on top of the bottle so when i look in to the container, i can jus grab what i want and use it. i use simple titles like shine, faceglo, flyspray and stuff like that. this is a really easy, quic thing to do that actuallyu saves a lot of time. remember...you dont need a super expensive tack box to be organized. email me any time or if you want more tips. i have a ton but this one is super easy and works great!!!! have fun and keep shown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I bought a box that I think is supposed to be a toolbox from walmart.  Its plastic and looks like a step that opens up.  It has a little pull out shelf thing I put my combs and rubber bands and hoofpicks on, then the bottom I keep my brushes, showsheen, etc.

I've got another little tote thing that fits over a bucket that I put other things in like sprays and towels.  I think I ordered it from www.sstack.com

If you've got one or two totes like those with handles, it makes it easier to carry around.  I love the step toolbox thingy, I use it to stand on when I do my horse's mane.

  4. These are my tips for organised showing. And I buy mine at the plastic box shop - tack store too expensive.

    1. I have one small sewing container with divisions in it for needles, thread, rubber bands, pro plaits, small scissors and plaiting comb. I sew up all the plaits so I thread my needles the week prior. I take this little box to the show for emergencies and carry a quick un pick for taking out plaits.

    2. Next container is approx 4 litre with a clear lid. Under the lid I've cellotaped a list for all the show day things we need, small things that get lost; show tickets, schedule, spurs, gloves, stock pin, hair brush, hair ties, hair net, show ribbon, small container for fresh rose if required etc. Then I use a felt tip on lid to mark off everything I've got for the event and rub it out for next use.

    3. Then I have my turn out box, it's larger, with another list of products, brushes etc taped to this box. (Also holds my plaiting container and show clipper plastic boxes.)

    4. On the day I have a bag big enough to carry a show rug, cleaning clothes, bottle of water and a snack. Then anyone can hold this ring side.

    5. Lastly I typed up a list on the computer of everything I need. Clothing, tack, covers, water, feed etc.  Best thing about this list is that my family can refer to it see what they can help with.

Very best of luck with the upcoming shows.
