How do you dip your satay in dipping sauce? Do you take the meat off the skewer and then dip with a fork? Could you just take the grilled meat off the skewer and put it on top of the rice and then pour your peanut sauce over the meat and rice and eat?

  1. If you are seated at a table, remove the meat from the skewer onto the rice. Dip each piece into the sauce as you eat.

If it's a finger buffet, it's quite acceptable to dip the the meat into the sauce before eating from the skewer.

  2. satay's are supposed to be small - just dip it while it's still on the skewer and then eat it off the stick.  or dip and remove from stick using a fork so you can eat it with the rice.

  3. i add sauce to the satay plate and dip from there off the skewer
