Shrimp and Pasta Dinner

Can anyone suggest some good recipes that involves Shrimp and Pasta? And Iv already looked through Foodnetwork.com but thats alot of recipes to look through. So any suggestions would be nice. Thanks

  1. My cousin sautees shrimp with a lil frozen broccoli... throw on some jarred Alfredo and a bit of lawry's seasoning salt (she uses old bay - i'm allergic).  Toss it over some fetachinni. Tastee!!

    I steam shrimp, add to corckscrew pasta with a lil vinegrette dressing.  You can throw in a bit of chopped onion, celery, peas, carrots, some people add black olives - yay pasta salad!

    you have tons of options.  


  2. Shrimp fetuccine Alfredo, just sautee small shrimp and add to cooked fettuccine and top with alfredo sause fro a jar, try ragu or barilla.. accompany with garlic bread rolls.couldnt be easier  

  3. Allrecipes.com has great recipes .. all you have to do is type in that you are looking for a shrimp pasta recipe and it will show you tons. Very yummy too!

  4. Saute the shrimp lightly in garlic, butter and white wine, serve over angel hair pasta with a little parmesan and parsley.

  5. Here's a tasty one that will go with pasta or rice:

    GARLIC SHRIMP

    3/4 lb. of precooked shrimp

    salt

    4 tbls olive oil

    4 garlic cloves, sliced

    1/4 tsp. hot pepper flakes

    2 tbls. fresh squeezed lemon juice

    1 tbls. white wine

    2 tbls. fresh parsley, finely chopped

    Put shrimp in large bowl and sprinkle salt over them.

    Heat the oil, garlic and chili pepper in a pan over medium-high heat. When the garlic is just beginning to brown, add the shrimp and cook for about 1-2 minutes.

    Stir in the lemon juice, white wine and parsley. Simmer for about 30 seconds and serve immediately over rice or pasta.

    Serves about 4 people.

    Creamy Shrimp Fettucine Recipe

    Serves/Makes: 4

    Ingredients:

        * 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp

        * 1/2 pound green fettucine noodles

        * 5 tablespoons margarine

        * 1 tablespoon chopped onion

        * 3/4 cup white wine

        * 3 tablespoons flour

        * 1 1/2 cup milk

        * 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh dill (or 3/4 teaspoon dried dill)

        * 2 teaspoon lemon juice

        * 1/2 teaspoon salt

    How to cook:

        * Boil fettucine noodles until done drain and set aside.

        * Meanwhile, In a saucepan, heat 2 tbsp. margarine.

        * Add the onions, shrimp and wine, and cook for 5 minutes.

        * In a separate saucepan, melt the remaining margarine.

        * Add the flour and stir until blended.

        * Gradually add milk, stirring vigorously until sauce is thick and smooth.

        * Add sauce and dill to the shrimp mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.

        * Serve over green fettucine noodles.

  7. I made a pesto sauce the other day with fresh basil, extra-virgin olive oil, fresh oregano & rosemary, Kosher salt, pepper, crushed garlic and tossed it with some salad shrimp and hot, cooked pasta.......
