Shrink clothes! to desired size!! answer please!?

Question

i got this jacket from pac sun.

but its too big!

and also

3 t-shirts

the jacket: 100% cotton

and large size from men's wear

the tanktop: 100% cotton

Cotton always shrinks; there's no stopping it. Wash it and put it in the dryer.

I agree with Grace.... couple times in HOT water and HOT dryer you should be good to go. BUT Dry completely 1rst time before doing it again. It should shrink a little each time.

100% cotton will always shrink; however, getting it to shrink to the size you want is impossible.  Wash it in hot water, dry it in the dryer; do this a couple of times.  This will shrink it the most it's going to, but whether it will be the amount you want is impossible to tell.  The absolute most it will shrink is 2 sizes.
