My husband and I are going up to Boston in December and plan to see a 5pm show one evening at the Shubert Theatre. Can anyone tell me how dressy the theatre is? I only ask cause I am coming from Florida, and everything here is basically nice-casual. Thanks!

  1. I've seen several shows there and it really runs the gamut. You'll see very formally dressed people (men in ties, ladies in dresses) and you'll see jeans and sneakers people too. To be safe, I usually fall in the middle and go with jeans, non-sneakers, and a button down shirt. Not sure what the female equivalent to that would be, but hope that helps.

  2. The Shubert theater in boston, is part of the City Boston Preforming Arts Center.
