  1. PS3 Reasons; Blu-ray, Faster loading, MGS4, Littlebigplanet, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, FF13, FF13 Versus, FF7 Remake, Warhawk, Playstation home, Fallout 3, Farcry 2, Free internet, uncharted, RE5 , God of war 3, Fat Princess, Socom;Confrontation, MAG (256 Multiplayer!), Motorstorm Pacific Rift, GT5, Bioshock

Halo 3 Reasons: Gears of War 1/2, Halo 3, Xbox Live, Fable 2, Too Human, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Farcry 2 , FF13, RE5, Halo wars, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock, Forza 3

    Take your pick.

  2. right now there's more you can do with the 360, ps3 isnt really worth it... that's just my opinion

  3. I was faced with the same dilemma a couple of weeks ago. Eventually, I got myself a 360 because it was cheaper ($275), it had more games, and some better online gaming. Sure it may not play blu-ray, but you're getting a better deal with the future netflix service and avatars to come. And if you're a fan of domestic-built items, then Bill Gates's little powerhouse is well worth you're money.

  4. It totally depends.. In my opinion and many others, PS3.

    'shud i buy a ps3 ? i really like both systems?'

    - 'Should I buy a PS3 or a XBOX 360?'

  5. If you want true High Def and a BluRay player, then yes.

  6. Whoa, what's with everyone correcting his grammer?

If you are a fan of it, why are you asking if you should buy it? The PS3 is awesome. It has amazing graphics, free online, Blu-Ray player, and so much more!

  7. Get both, they are worth it trust me

  8. 360

  9. Get the ps3 it has an amazing game library that will only increase. For the money you get more from a ps3. Plus dont belive those people saying that the ps3 overheats that is bullshit the xbox has a 33% failure rate while the ps3 has like 0.2% failure rate.

  10. TEN THINGS WHY TO BUY A PS3..

    1/ FUTURE

LittleBigPlanet, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and Motorstorm 2 are all on the horizon. More and more companies are finally throwing their support hehind the system, and while it doesn’t have as many exclusives as it’s competition the ones it has are quality, and the future is bright for the PS3.

    2/ BLU RAY

As the cheapest Blu-Ray player that has a built in internet connection and hard drive, the PlayStation 3 should be purchased by anyone with a high-definition television. HD-DVD has lost, and the next format is Blu Ray. While the king of High-Def might eventually go to digital, it is currently in Sony’s corner, and until that changes the PS3 is worth purchasing for that alone.

    3/ HARDWARE

The PlayStation 3 is the most powerful video game system by far, with the Cell Processor and Blu Ray drive. Not only that, but it comes with a hard drive built in, and Sony has no problem letting developers take advantage of their system’s unique features to make a good game. While some developers are abusing this aspect, others use it to create experiences that couldn’t be developed for the Xbox 360 or Wii, and the system’s hardware gives it a leg up on the competition.

    4/ METAL GEAR SOLID 4

The first game to actually move PlayStation 3 systems was Metal Gear Solid 4, pushing it ahead of the Xbox 360 for two full months. There’s a reason for this – Metal Gear Solid 4 is an amazing title. Even for an admitted hater of the series, MGS4 succeeded any expectations I had for the title, launching it from a game I was ready to forget to a game I couldn’t.

    5/ UNCHARTED:DRAKES FORTUNE

Uncharted is already one of the best games of this generation, with a movie-quality plot and some of the best voice acting in gaming history. I know I seem to be rambling about presentation and polish for a lot of these games, but that’s because developers spend a lot of time with presentation and polish when developing PS3 games. It gets a little wonky at the end, but wraps up well and is a game worth playing several times through.

    6/ PSN IS FREE!

Um, yeah. You can play games online, like on Xbox Live, but you don’t need to pay any money, unlike Xbox Live. It may not have all of the bells and whistles of the 360’s online service, but it’s free, and it works, so it’s awesome.

7/RATCHET AND CLANK:FUTURE TOOLS OF DESTRUCTION

It’s shocking that Insomniac Games was able to pull off two amazing games within a few months of the PlayStation 3’s release, and Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction trumps most of the previous titles in the Ratchet and Clank series. The graphics are amazing, rivaling some of the best animated movies, and the game’s plot and voice acting make the game worth checking out.

    8/PLAYSTATION STORE GAMES

No, the PlayStation store doesn’t have anything that compares to Braid or Geometry Wars 2, but it does have enough content to spend more than a few weeks playing through the downloadable games. Titles like Pain, Pixeljunk Monsters, Pixeljunk Eden, and Super Stardust HD are great distractions. Siren and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue offer full game experiences that you can download right onto your hard drive.

    9/RESISTANCE:FALL OF MAN

Resistance didn’t live up to the photorealistic promises of the early PlayStation 3 commercials, but the launch title was definitely the best among the early PlayStation 3 releases. The story was there, and the game’s unique enemies and weapons were enough to gain the game an online following, leading to hectic multiplayer battles. The game’s sequel is coming soon, and looks to follow in the original’s footsteps while adding a huge amount of polish, so the time is right to jump on board and give Resistance a play-through.

    10/ WARHAWK

Incognito’s PlayStation 3 exclusive online-only shooter offers an experience unmatched on the Xbox 360 or Wii. 32-player online battles across huge landscapes in various different vehicles is an impressive feat for a console to handle, and allowing up to four players to jump online with one system makes it an achievement in technological prowess.

Well i hope you make a good decision..goodluck!

  11. yeah i Have both get both or the ps3 anyone kno mine??

  12. the ps3 gives you more for your money but there are still some games that are exclusive to the 360 such as halo3 that appeal to consumer's me i chose ps3 as soon as i heard that morrowwind oblivon was coming out for it as well as 360. As for features you get alot more free with the ps3 and it has a better internet browser then the ps3 (more online content works as it would in a pc) also there is one level of ps3 online and it is free, while the 360 has a free level and a premium level. both the 360 and the wii have come out with pay per play games while the ps3 has not also with the wii everything cost wii points including the internet browser. if your using it as a comp the ps3 is defeintly your choice better storage and the best procesor on the market.

  13. Some people say PS3 is better but 360 really does have great games i love on-line 360 it's really cool but i have to admit i only have the 360 because i'm a big HALO fan other then that i probably would have got a PS3 or Wii instead. And on top of that you have to worry about your 360 overheating and stuff so yeah get a PS3

  14. ps3's were designed for core gamers (the ones who call in sick to play soul calibur ^_^) xbox 360's were more or less built for casual gamers, with the exception of a few games and the wii was directed towards people who barely know anything about games (my parents :P) so it all depends on what kind of gamer you are. also i have been told not to bother buying a ps3 unless you have a good t.v  (lcd, plasma) or can afford to buy one.

  15. yeah they have different games and they are both good so go for it

  16. (Okay this is coming from a girl) my older brother has a ps3 and it looks AMAZING on our t.v.! I played Call of duty 4 with him and MLB 2008 The Show with him and it is the best thing ever!! X-box sucks

  17. no go for a 360 cheaper and basically the same quality. plus there is a lot more better games for the 360

  18. Go for PS3, I bought it and don't regret it.

  19. Both are really, good, but my opinion in the 360. There are many good games for the PS3, 360 games are fantastic.

  20. A ps3 if you want better sound and graphics. There isnt much  of a difference, but its there. Also, it depends on which games you like. Halo 3 is great on the 360, while Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance Fall of Man is on the ps3.

There are also alot of gamers that come out on both systems.

  21. a lot of people are ill-informed about these consoles...

A couple wrong things i saw looking only at the first page

-You need to buy a headset for the 360 (wrong, it comes with one)

-Only PS3 has "true HD" (wrong, XBOX plays in 1080p when you use HDMI)

-"The PS3 has way more "fratures" than the 360" (this may be true, but the 360 has a lot of good "features", like the ability to chat independently of the game, the new netflix partnership, longer conrtoller battery life by 200%)

-"XBOX 360 was built for casual gamers" (GOD you people are frustrating... Microsoft has actually been criticized for being the LEAST casual of the consoles)

-there is no indisputable winner in graphics, they are equal to most people when looking at the same game

-the newest XBOX 360s DO not get the RROD any more than the PS3 fails... 33% was the number for the 2005 XBOXes

go to gamespot, look at the highest rated games of all time.  Count all scores over 9.5 for the 360 and PS3....the only PS3 exclusive is MGS4...XBOX 360 has GOW, braid, Halo, and orange box

so unless you REALLY need MGS4, xbox games win hands down.

If you have any XBOX games, you don't need to stuff them in a box- you can actually PLAY THEM

but when it really comes down to it, get what your friends have so you can play with them.  I am attached to 360 because EVERYONE in my school has 360's, and the PS3 fans don't really have a lot of people to play with.

  22. I think you shud learn how to spell

  23. Get a PS3. It has blue-ray, the way of the future, and actually works out cheaper than buying a blue-ray player.

  24. yes. yes yes yes yes yes. ps3 is on the rise, 360 is doing ok, but is running out of steam. ps3 has an amazing line up of things coming soon, whilst 360 has......GoW2. ps3 has much higher technology than 360, and will last much longer, and as i said before, its on the rise very much right now. you would have to be stupid to not get one. plus, if you want to play online, ps3 will save you tons of money over the years you use it. good luck with your decision

  25. you should invest in hooked on phonics. "shud" ????

  26. It comes down to 2 specific details:

    1) If you want games, games, and more games right now then the 360 is probably your best bet.

    2) If you want a system that has games (some are really great), Blu- Ray (Hi-Def Movies!!!) and a something that is more of an entertainment system then PS3 is your best bet.

I have both and I have to say that I really think PS3 is the superior system. Sure it does not have some of the games that 360 has but it completely makes up for it with Blu- ray and it is a much more multimedia driven system. I also have a PSP and when my PS3 is hooked up to the internet and on then I can access files from anywhere on the planet from my PSP.

For instance, I was in California a couple weeks ago and I wanted to show a friend some pictures but they were on my PS3. Well, I got in a WiFi zone and was able to upload them to my PSP from 3,000 miles away. I also needed more music and was able to do the same thing!!!

Like I said earlier, 360 has a bigger and slightly better game library and it is cheaper but it can't compare to the PS3 in cool factor. Not to mention 360 does not have Metal Gear Solid 4, arguably the greatest game of all time!

And one last thing, 360 looks cheaper and is for the base system but also take into account that you will want a headset, a headset adapter, an HDDVD player (which is obsolete), and you will need to pay for online games. All of which costs A LOT of money, so in the long run you will spend less on a PS3 because PS3 plays Blu-ray standard, you can use ANY bluetooth headset, and the Playstation Network is FREE.

    It's a no brainer :)

  27. Go to these websites....They have new, used and refurbished systems...Buy a used or refurbished game system and you could save enough to be able to afford one of each! Plus alot of times they will come with a few games....

Good Luck and Happy Gaming :-)

  28. its really up to ya :) both r great systems xbox u can play against people world wide, ps3 u can surf the web on WIFI and also be-able to play blue-ray movies on 1080p that's a plus i have the 360 its pretty fun :P going to buy the ps3 when it has some more better games out tho

  29. a ps3 was really expensive, did it come down in price? if so go for that, the xbox 360 gets the red ring of death a lot. if u already have a ps2 though, a ps3 plays a lot of the same games, there aren't that many ps3 games out there that aren't on ps2. however, xbox 360 has a lot of new games xbox doesn't have.

i'd say ps3 if it's not too expensive, and u don't have a ps2 to play the same games on. if u do get an xbox though make sure u buy the warrenty

  30. buy a wii

  31. PS3 Is The Shiiit!! You'll Love It! Has Way More Fratures Than A 360!
