Shud i change my texas driver license to Ohio?please help

i moved to ohio last year .still i am continuing my texas license. it is going to expire in 2014.i donno whether i need to change it to Ohio's.

  1. Yes, you need to get an Ohio license. Your insurance coverage could also be involved. Florida allowed 30 days after becoming a resident unless you were employed, then it was to be done immediately.


  2. You need to obtain an Ohio Operator's License if you live in Ohio.  You have a 30 day grace period, after that you can be ticketed and even arrested for no operator's license.

  3. If you are now living  in Ohio  it  is mandatory for you to get an Ohio DL If  you get pulled  and you give  them an Ohio address  they will ask  how long  you have resided  in the state. The  time requirements  differ  in different states  but  you could  be given a ticket  for  it. In Tenn.  the limit  is 90  days  of residency  if  you move  here  permanently.
