Shure wireless headset microphone

The wireless transmitter is a Shure Wireless PGX 1, and the receiver is a Shure performance gear wireless PGX 4. I have had this setup for about two years, but have never experienced any problems. It seems like there could be a loose connection in the transmitter pack. It will make a few popping noises and then I will lose the sound completely.
