Question:

Shuttle transfers to Madrid, Spain Airport?

I'm travelling alone and would rather have a shuttle organised to pick me up FROM my accomodation to the airport.

So far, I've only see "Airport to Madrid hotels" whenever I do a wedb engine search. Any help?

  1. I agree.  Subway is quick and efficient if you don't have too much baggage to worry about.  And taxis are not that expensive.  Don't sweat it.

  2. Try AeroCity  (www.aerocity.com)  We used them last summer after trying everything else (rental cars, subway, taxis).  You pre-arrange it. You pay the driver at the time of the service just like a taxi.  You tell them what time you want to be picked up, and where you are going. They come with a 16 passenger yellow mini van. We had our whole family and luggage, so we paid for express service (which means that they only had us, no other stops).  Regular service means that they could possibly stop and get other riders on the way. Very speedy, great service. And for us, it was cheaper than having to take 2 taxis.

  3. You have several options.. If you have found that the shuttle service goes to your hotel, you will most logically have the return shuttle from the same hotel, and ask at the hotel for when and how.

Then you have the public transport service. Madrid has a line that goes to and from the airport...

look it up in their website:

    www.ctm-madrid.es

The third option is simply take a taxi. The spanish taxis are not all that expensive, and it would be the simplest alternative.
