Sibelius for composing and recording?

Question

Can anyone advise if the latest version of Sibelius comes with the best sound fonts? If so, which Version should I look for, and if not, can I integrate sound fonts from another software while recording? Where can I get the best, most authentic sound fonts? And finally, can I record straight off my score in Sibelius, with good sound fonts, as Wave files on my laptop directly?

I use Sibelius EVERY DAY in my business I also use Finale.  The sound quality on both of them is great - and you can also opt to use whatever sound card is on your system.  That might make the sound EVEN BETTER if you have an incredible card - OR it might make things load faster, etc., if you are doing work that does NOT require great sound for that day's tasks.  I recently had a big orchestral arranging project, and was working between two scores; every time I went from one to the other - I had to wait for all the Kontakt Player sounds to load!  Of course I could have done it differently, but when you are under th gun, you often don't take the time to go in and FIX things that would eventually save you time.

OK - when you decide to BURN a CD from Sibelius - be prepared to wait, because it burns in REAL TIME.  Got a 15-minute work?  It's gonna take all of that time.  When I do the same procedure in Finale - ZOOM and it is done.

I may not be the greatest source for technical info on either of these, but I know what I know - those things I use all the time.  And I have my reasons to keep BOTH of these programs on my computer.  I am also upgrading to a new computer later this year ( just spent my budget on advertising, so have to get paid for a few jobs before I lay out any more - I NEVER go into debt!) - so  faster computer might help, too.  I am satisfied with re-draw speeds and all else - it's just the BURNING thing that I see a big difference.  I hope that other power users write in and help us BOTH with that!

You can add Garritan sounds to most programs - there are others, too - but I am more than OK with Kontakt player.
