  1. Yes my husband and his brother did this as long as one has good credit and is needed as a co signer

  2. anyone can be a co-signer. doesnt matter the relation. they can even be someone off the street. i dont know who would do that, but you know.

  3. Yews, any two adults can enter into a contract together.

  4. Yes wifes and husband do it all the time. Both will be held responsible for the vehicle. Including in a civil court case. if god forbids anything happens

  5. yes

  6. Yes.  Know who you are getting into the deal with.  If your sibling is less than reliable you may end up paying for a car someone else wrecks and consider the insurance also.  You pay for the other persons bad driving record.  Good luck.

  7. yes but the problem with this is the person who puts more money towards the car will tend to think the car is more theirs then both of yours.

  8. sure but it's a bad idea

unless you only drive it back and forth to school

every time you need it, they will have it.

if one of you wrecks it, how will you feel?

  9. Yes, you can.

I would suggest that you make a little contract as far as how the car will be shared (if it is going to be shared) upkeep and gas so that the siblings will not have problems later on.  Even the best of siblings will end up arguing over things like this.

Well good luck hope I helped.
