Sibs with ADHD? tell me bout it...?

my bro has ADHD and i hate it. he is always fighting with my 4 yr old bro. because of his medicine he never eats and he gets a lot of attention from it 2. i always eat everything. and i am not picky about the food i eat. he gets all the attention and everything. when i was little i was skinny, and when he was little he was chubby, then i grew up and got a figure, and now he is like skin and bones. my cousin even said we switched, when i said he was chubby. then i was like "thanks". then she was like but your not even that chubby to cover it up. i dont think im chubby. i hate him having ADHD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually my brother and I both have ADHD and I know how frustrating it can be both for you and your brother.  As frustrating as you may find it that he plays rough and can't sit still, please try to be patient with him.  One day he'll figure out how to channel his agression and over activity into something much calmer and more productive and when that happens it would be terrible if the two of you could not be friends because you are still sore about what is going on now.  Everyone has thier own challenges in life, unfortunately ADHD is your brother's.  

Believe it or not one day you will look back and be amazed at what he is able to accomplish in one day with his never ending energy.  Everything can be turned into a positive.  In the mean time he needs all the love and support you can give him because not only does he struggle in the social aspect but he also struggles in school.  

(my brother is 29 and owns his own landscaping company, its a good thing he has all that energy :) )

My youngest brother has ADHD and he's 29 now. It's rough. I'm 34. But it's even harder for him. Try to be empathetic. Be thankful that you don't have that problem. It's one more obstacle to have to find a way to overcome in life.
