Question:

Sick, school attendance dilemma?

I'm in year 11 and I've been absent so many times that if I am absent anymore I risk failing year 11 and having to repeat(I've already gone over the limit).

But it's sunday today and I've been sick for two days and I've had fever yesterday and today(I'm also tired with a runny nose).

Should I go to school tomorrow or not?

  1. Do you want to fail? You seem to have laid out the consequences of your actions pretty clearly. You have to decide whether or not it's worth it.

  2. yes; unless you want to fail the 11th grade... Or you could try getting a doctors note that specifies that you are truly sick.

It is August right now. Many schools haven't even begun the new year, and those that have, have only had their first few days! How can you already have collected so many absences?

  3. Why have you been so sick? Maybe you should get checked out. If it's all because of a serious illness, the school will be ok with it once you give them a doctor's note.

  4. try being absent wisely. i would say not go to school and see a doctor and when u do Definitely get a doctors note that way your absence will excusded. next time dont JUST be absent just for the heck of it because it leDS TO HAVING TO DECIDE WHETHER TO GO TO SCHOOL OR NOT WHEN BEEING SICK! SEE A DOCTOR AND GET A NOTE!
