My daughter is 10 months old and weighs a healthy 19 pounds. She has a cold with runny nose and she's miserable. Is there anyhting other than tylenol or motrin I can give her to help her? Everything I see says "Under 2 ask doctor" Todays Saturday and she can't go to the doctor till Monday and vaporizors don't seem to be helping

  1. We use the little noses saline solution its safe for all ages and it will help unclog her nose and moisturize. Right after you use it,you can use a bulb syringe to quickly get rid of the mucas instead of constantly wiping her nose off.....Good Luck!!

  2. Drink lots of fliuds, saline solution helps alot, baby vicks. Also try washing her sheets, pillows, toys etc. to get the germs out.

  3. Baby vicks, 1/2tsp benadryl, saline nose spray, and lots and lots of TLC.  Good luck!

  4. If you get any of the otc medicine for childrens colds (tylenol, benedryl etc) then give her 1/2 the dosage it has listed for children over 2.  Then when Monday comes, you could save money by just calling the doc's nurse .  The cold just has to run it's course, so they won't give anitbotics unless there is infection (usually inner ear infection).  They sometimes want to wait it out if it's outer ear infection.
