Sick 12 week old kitten---?

Question

We have a 12 week old kitten that went in for booster shots yesterday and the vet said he is very healthy and has no known illnesses. Tonight, he is hunching over and appears to have possible abdominal pain. He is walking a bit awkward, almost slightly drunken. He still attempts to play, but wont go more than a few inches to play with his favorite toys. He smacks his lips continuously too. And sits upright instead of laying comfortably as usual. Is this worthy of an emergency vet visit this evening? Its 9pm but I dont mind taking him if necessary. Thank you for any assistance with this matter! ps--- all cabnets are still closed and it appears impossible that he got into any household chemicals.

it sounds like your kitten is having an adverse reaction to his booster shots. i would definitely get him to the emergency vet. adverse reactions should be treated immediately.

If i were in your situation I would probably call the vet hospital and see what they think.

he problably feels sick because of the shots!!

But if you tghink its something else take it to the vet!!!

  YES  I WOULD take him to the vets.. it is possible that he is having a reaction to the  booster shot he had.....take him  now it may be something  serious   ...i have never heard  of a cat acting like that  after having a shot....what kind  was it....  explain all of this to the vet  and sounds like he neds to be  examined  take him   now  and have him  checked  ...........good luck  and i  pray that it is not anything serious  and   that  he will be fine.....GOD  BLESS KITTY........
