If i eat a standard breakfast or dinner meal I'm sick after it most times, and i just can't keep large amounts of food down, yet I'm gaining weight rapidly..what is happening? I used to make myself sick due to personal issues but now i just throw up automatically. What is wrong with me?

  1. Sounds like you could be pregnant.  Other than that, maybe it's due to making yourself sick previously (body used to it?).  I agree with others though, do get checked out.  All the best!

  2. Is there a possibility you're pregnant?  I've known people who can't keep any food down because of Crohn's disease, but they LOSE weight.

  3. Tell your parents immediately have them take you for tests it may be just nerves but go.

  4. Not eating changes your metabolism.  Your body is in starvation mode which means it is storing everything .  Go see a doctor get a proper diet plan stick to it and your metabolism will regain its equilibrium.

Your stomach has shrunk thats why you can no longer keep much down.

Eat small meals  5-6 a day this should also help your metabolism.  Most dieticains say eat more not less to lose weight.

  5. Your body is reacting to having food in your stomach -- so either it's a medical issue or your mind is placing up a subconscious blockade because you don't want to digest your food (which could be true, considering you used to make yourself sick).

If you're taking any medication at all or if you think it's just a reaction -- go to the doctor immediately.  A friend of mine had this happen to her and it was because her doctor didn't account for the medications she was placed on mixing together.

See what the doctor says about it.  If it's not medical, it's probably a psychological issue that will need counseling -- but I'm betting it's medical.
