Sick and tired of this class ?

Once again, in math class, we have learned nothing. Today we sat and class and he taught us nothing because everyone was talking and walking around and even when we didn't talk, he still wouldn't teach us anything.

Yesterday he had to get the assistant principal to come in and teach the class (IM DEAD SERIOUS). And the assistant principal did a better job teaching us than he did because he was strict enough on us and knew how to keep the class quiet. But when the teacher teaches, nobody takes him seriously.

This class is getting ridiculous and insane. I can't fail again for the third time. I need this more thn anybody right now and I seriously cannot concentrate anymore. It's only been what, 2 weeks and I still haven't learned anything.

Today people were arguing that he shouldn't be teaching us because he doesn't know how to control a class like that well and he really doesn't know how to teach us without us helping him. Im not even going to lie, he seems like he is on the verge of quitting.

But I seriously do believe it is both sides at fault. The teacher should care and control the class while the kids should actually care and learn something.

Might I also mention this is the 3rd time he has been talked to by the assitant principal about controlling the class.

What should I do ? I don't want to flunk a class again.

  1. If there is no option to transfer classes, move to the front of the class and try to pay as much attention as possible.  Consider having regular meetings with your teacher outside of class to go over what you didn't understand.  I would also get a tutor to help you retain the information for long periods of time.

At this point on the school year, you might bring it to the attention of the PTA and see if the teacher can be replaced.

  2. Well if you can afford it you could hire a tutor, or if that isn't an option ask an older kid to help you with the material for the subject

  3. change your math class.

  4. The kids in the class were acting up, and then complaining your teacher couldn't control them?  Why can't they control themselves?
