Question:

Sick of eating McDonalds, Pizza, Dunkin Donuts... I feel like c**p!! Need to be healthy on the go HELP?

I just threw up an order of mcdonalds i ate 2 hours ago because i felt so freaking sick. It's gross the way I have been eating--- all fast foods and cookies, desserts, etc. Luckily I am young with a fast metabolism so it does not affect my appearance but it affects the way i feel. ANyways I NEED some suggestions on healthy meals that I can have FAST- make in advance and heat up and have it ready in just a few minutes. I don't usually have the time to cook at meal times. Just a few examples I have are breakfast burritos to heat up later, and lasagna, but what else?? I am SO sick and tired of being sick and tired from all this fast ****, I mean food.

  1. Don't listen to all these people kid, this is America, and we gotta live the American way, there is nothing that makes us more powerful than overeat, why you think everybody wants o live here?--> Because they are hungry. no excuses, be a good American and go to Burger King


  2. try cutting up fruit...like melons, bananas, apples, peaches. throw in some grapes, strawberries to make a fruit tray. sometimes you can buy fruit already cut up for you in produce section. also, there is a line of jello cups that have fruit in them, pretty tasty. how about yogurt? there is a line of yogurt you may like. Yo-plait has a line of custard yogurt. it's like pudding and tastes yummy. there is yogurt shakes you drink. they are my favorite. you can always make a vegetable tray with your favorite raw veggies. eat those with ranch dressing or your own favorite dressing. drink fruit juices or tomato juice. V8?  how about a green salad again with your favorite vegetables. eat with your favorite dressing. you can make a summer plate...cheese, crackers, deli ham or turkey, bread & butter pickles. easy. you can take any of these to work.

    poke a raw potato with a fork and throw in the microwave for about 6 mins. top off with chili, broccoli, and cheddar cheese. i do that in a pinch.

  3. Its great to hear that your turning your body around, because fast food is of course internally unhealthy.

    In general you need to eat alot of fruit and vegetables and foods from the Food Plate shown here: http://www.your30.qld.gov.au/Portals/0/Y...

    It is divided into different sections and as you can see all your fast food, lollies and junk are completely out of it.

    I suggest for fast meals try looking at "HEALTHY CHOICE" heat up dinners in the supermarket such as Lasagne, rice and stirfry. Even crumbed fish is better for you then any Mcdonalds or fast food in general. Stirfry as I said before is one of the greatest meals you can have because you can put any vegetables of your liking with the noodles/chicken/rice or whatever type of stir fry you want.

    Don't forget to drink plenty of water for general wellbeing and to prevent de-hydration. :) Also exercise whether this is a walk to the park with the dog, swimming or even just doing a couple of exercises up the stairs :)

  4. If you don't have time to cook maybe you should eat more fruits, or even try eating something good like Honey nut Cheerios. And if you have to eat fast food try sub way but don't order the five dollar foot long. and get wheat bread with no chips and no soda.

  5. If you HAVE to eat fast food, there are alternatives.  The Subway ads are true; there are some fairly healthy sandwiches.  At hamburger stands, go for the main-course salads with chicken.  If you want a sandwich, eat the grilled chicken sandwich.  Substitute the small salad for fries when possible.  French fries are barely food.  My wife buys the kiddie meals, which is about what we Americans should be eating.  She also takes lots of Lean Cuisine Mac and Cheese dishes to microwave at work.  Also Mac and Beef.

  6. on your day off make large amounts of stews, shepards pies, currys, brown pastas, even roasts and freez in portions then take what u need at meal times...make sambos for work the night befor and bring a cuppa soupe mabe.
