I could care less if he throws 50 TD's this year or if he doesn't throw a single one. My only hope is that now I can turn on SportCenter and not have to hear about him for at least 1/3 of the d**n show. Anyone else?

  1. I've got some advice for you...stop watching "BSPN".That's not a typo,I meant to say BSPN.I only watch BSPN when I'm at work because it's programed on the TV.To answer your question, yes I am and I particularly can't stand the fact that the rest of the league seems like it stopped while this story transpired. There are other teams in the NFL.I haven't heard one thing about the first overall pick yet.BSPN is nothing but "Holllywood Access!"(The sports edition)

  2. I stopped watching SC for this very reason.  It's gotten to the point where I actually watch the Today show before work.  Now, that's bad.

I love sports. I just wish that ESPN would cover them, instead of scandals, soap operas, golf and NASCAR.

  3. Living as a Packer fan I just say  Whoooo? People need to  show support for the Packers (or Jets) and let it go!! One I noticed is he is wearing a baseball cap and carrying a clipboard could he have not been doing the same thing here..as I recall.

  4. You don't get any new sports news because all they talk about now is Brett Favre. He's traded.

  5. YES! he should have either stayed retired. no one wants to hear about him every 2 seconds i feel the same way he left on a bad note.

  6. Quit your whining. Don't watch Sportscenter then. And hearing about Favre is way better then the months of endless steroid talk.

  7. Does espn know there are other teams, sports and people to talk about rather than that self centered, ego idoit, over rated fool for two dam days that's you hear .Give the fool a ticker tape parade you gave him everything else. BUT Beware Jets he played this same game at the end of the season for four years once even said "What are they doing to do to me ? cut me?" YOU CAN HAVE HIM !!!!!

  8. he is still one of the best qbs ever made

  9. Unfortunately this story will go away...never. It may slow down some but this move will be dissected over and over the rest of the year. Eventually they will start to run what if segments, what if Farve had been traded to (insert team name)?  Its just the world we live in. Farve stories sell.

  10. I'm sick of Favre as well as all of this hyping up of the New Orleans Saints. The Super Bowl? Didn't we go through all of this last year too? Man, if Reggie Bush played on the Dolphins, they'd still be talking about them going to the Super Bowl.

  11. Yeah its dumb though.........people are saying it as if he is on a team he can help easily take the division. He is in the AFC East, so their only hope is the Wild Card. That is still playoffs, but its not like they are going to win the division.......

The reason why Manning gets no attention is because his SB win was kind of a fluke.........I dont want to say that a playoff game is a fluke but it what happened. He will preform horrible next year and everyone else will be back to talking c**p about him.

  12. I am a HUGE fan of Favre, but I do agree. I am kinda sick of sick of people talking about him. All that is happening is a legend coming out of retirement that he hasn't been in for that long, but I am happy he is still playing. I just don't think there should be a huge fuss.

  13. Yes and this question isn't helping either.

  14. Favre is a good QB and with his stats he will be a first ballot HOF, but he is not as good as he was in the late 90's.  I quit watching ESPN after all the Favre c**p started and only recently after he was traded to the Jets I started watching it and they are still talking about Favre. ESPN has even given Favre his own spot on the ticker at the bottom of the screen I can name ten better QBs then Favre Brady, Manning, Big Ben, Romo, Eli, Hasselbeck, McNabb, Brees, Anderson, and Palmer. Favre is not that big of a deal.

  15. Yeah and Eli Manning (last Super Bowl winning QB) is treated like a ghost.
