Question:

Sick of....?

I'm sick of being good, I'm 16 never drank, smoked, or anything.

Everyone I know has a least done one of the above. I know it sounds stupid but I feel like I'm missing out. I want to start drinking (Not becoming a Alcoholic or anything) maybe beer or something. But I'm afraid my parents would find out, if I started. How could I try it w/o them knowing?

  1. To try alcohol, you need to be at a sleepover or something, because if you come home after drinking they will know. With smoking, if they smoke, you should be able to get away with it. Just be sneaky!

The best thing that could happen would be to talk to your parents and convince to let you try drinking and smoking at home, with them. That might actually be fun!

Good luck! Write if I can help!

  2. Simple. Don't give in to peer pressure. When all of your friends become alcoholics, and get hooked on drugs, you can be the one out of y'all that is not an addict, of has no issues.

  3. OW my Little ONE! Don't you even think about starting nothing! I did the same when i was your age and let me tell you its no picnic! Whats so cool about throwing-up all over yourself! and looking like an idiot, and god for-bide if some guy puts something in your drink an rape's you. So think about what your saying before you go through with it. life is all about choices, chose correctly!

  4. Don't bother.

People make it look 'amazing' at the time, but in the end, there's being drunk, and making a fool of yourself, and sometimes regreting things you've done.

Just don't try it. It only takes once to get hooked.

  5. don't do it without them knowing ask your mom or dad next time they drink if you could maybe take a sip and than promise not to leave the house and as for smoking don;t start and this will sound stupid but i don't care because alot of people in my family died from smoking but the best way to stop is never to start cuse one you have that first cig than your hooked like a fish

  6. Wow...that's dumb.

    Beer is disgusting anyways.

Did you know it's a depressent?

Yeah, it makes you feel down.

    Bad choice.

    Stick to school!

  7. dun't cause sometimes you can't control the outcome of that.

Curiosity killed the cat, as they say

  8. What would you be missing out on? I'm 17 and never done any of that stuff you said. Think about it. Do you want to mess you life up? do you want to run the risk of our parent's finding out you do that stuff? Don't do it!!!! Just stay the way you are.

  9. Don't. Whatever you do, don't. All it takes is 1 cigarette or 1 beer or other alchoholic beverage to make you addicted. I've seen people at 14 smoking and drinking and they are throwing their lives away. They're only 14! It's sad and sickening. And it's good being good, and you're not missing out on anything by doing all that c**p. Don't smoke, it WILL kill you. Nomatter what. My grandma, she hasn't smoked in about 35 years and now she's dying, of emphysema (caused by smoking) and cancer (of the lungs). Pray you never have to deal with anything like that. If you're sick of being too good, then just purposely get a detention or something like that, just don't get into drinking, smoking, or drugs.

  10. Why do you wanna?  What's so cool about it?  If you're scared of your parents finding out then just don't.  They'll find out and they'll never trust you again.

  11. Your ambitious for obtaining the whole "integrity" quality, aren't you?    And I doubt your missing out on anything.  If you want to try an alcoholic beverage, wait until your of age or tell your parents it's something you're curious about and want to try.

  12. u don't need to when ur 16 ones that start that early usually become alcoholics i came really close to it but i cant drink now cause it messes with my stomach to much if u hide it from ur parents and they find out they wont trust u and if they allow it u wont really be interested and let me tell u that its not as fun as ppl make it to be and u get all this hype try it once and r like wtf this anit any thing and just waiting till u r 21 is best

  13. Just drink a bit of alcohol with your friends at a party or w/e. You are 16 so its not like your a young child. Don't smoke, its a disgusting habit and in my view a real turn-off so that's a good thing. Just think about your education, you don't wanna mess that up but you can have a bit of fun at the same time with your mates.

  14. Oh wow. I can't wait to see your question in two months...:"Am I pregnant?!"

  15. I'm exactly like you. Same age, same problem.

I tried taking a drink out of my parents liquor cabinet once, and it was awful. I had to spit it out.

I still want to drink or something. Even my mom thinks it weird that I don't party hard or smoke pot or anything.

If you want to have a drink, you have 2 options:

    1. Drink when your parents aren't home. Take a bottle of their vodka or rum, or whatever, and gulp it.

    2. Drink at parties. A riskier option, because you might end up drunk at someone's house and do something stupid, but your parents won't find out.

  16. do what eva you want its your life BUT know that you alone will be responsible for your actions. you arent missing much ppl who do those things make it look so glamouros but it isnt.

i think its admirable that you are yet to try these things and should be proud of that....

  17. dont.

  18. You're sick of being good?

Well if you want to wreck your body, I can't stop you.

  19. eh well, i might as well help you since i manage to hide things easily.

Well, if everyone you know has tried it, talk to them about getting some. Ask them if they have any beer. Some parents let there kids drink. You could go over and have a beer there and just spend the night and brush your teeth. The smell will be gone by the morning.
