Sick of telemarketers try this, start a movement...?

If you are sick of the calls as I am and millions of others then lets try this.. Look in your phone book and find your senator's number. Every time you get a call from a telemarketer, call your senator and let them know, that this call today is because I am still getting calls from telemarketers and it is very annoying. So for every call I get I am going to call your office. Maybe this will get their attention to do something about this problem. One person doing this is no impact, but millions doing it, hmm.Think about this one.. if you called your senator and didn't answer, spoke ruddly or just hung up several times a day, every day, what do you think would happen? Answer..the Secret Service would be on your front door step within days. So is there a double standard? I pay for my phone line..and should have the right as a citizen to not recieve ANY solicitation calls period. Maybe..just maybe.. our elected officals will get the message that our privacy rights are being violated.!!!

I already have a good way to get them off my back.  I tell them the head of the house or boss had a heart attack.  That keeps them off for a while but if they start calling again, I tell them he died.  The first part is true, I did have a heart attack 3 weeks ago.

Did you sign up for the Do Not Call list?

I still get occasional telemarketing calls (and I feel absolutely NO need to be polite to the people who place them), but only a very small fraction of what I was getting before that law took effect.  Maybe 1 to 3 a month now, where I used to sometimes get 25 to 30 a month.

I usually ask them what they are wearing try to get some phone s*x and they hang up on me soon enough. Try to make their calls fun for you
