Sick on carpet?

ihave been out all night and have been sick on the carpet is there a way to get rd of the smell??

Wash area well with warm water, dry out with a cloth, spray with Febreze which you should be able to get in any biggish supermarket in the cleaning materials section. May need 2 applications.

Holliste is right. Rug Doctors are available in UK Homebase Stores. It will do the job.

Pour a little pile of baking soda where the stain used to be, let it sit over night, or even for a day or two, then vacuum it up.  Repeat as needed.

Two suggestions....

One- Rent a Rug Doctor from any hardware store, I got mine from Lowe's and get the carpet cleaner solution and it makes the room smell really great. It only cost like 30 dollars and you get the machine for 24 hours.

Two- Get the Glade carpet and room vacum scents that they sell at wal mart or any store for like a dollar fifty and you just sprinkle it on and leave for fifteen minutes and then vacum. They have different scents that smell so good. Personally I love the peach kind.

Toothpaste and zit remover mixed with alcohol and bubbles. Scrub very well. If this does not work get a cat or dog to l**k the stain. If that doesnt work which wont be likely just get a new rug.

resolve professional carpet cleaning solution for steam cleaners but you have to rent one of those carpet steam machines that worked for me.

There is stain, it's just down deep, try woolite fabric cleaner.  It gets out the stain and odor.  If that doesn't work, get some "odorban" from Sam's, it worked on clothes that went through Katrina.  Good luck!

Sprinkle baking soda on your carpet, leave overnight and vacuum up the next day to remove odors in your carpet with out heavy fragrances

oust febrezze a fan open all windows rub soap and water on it

wine is meant to clean take stains out....f this fails try shaving foam....leave for about 2 hours and then wash... it really does take out the stain
