Question:

Sick rabbit, please help.?

My rabbit is almost 9 weeks old, I got her about a week ago. A few hours after I adopted her ( I got her from a breeder), I noticed she had a wet nose and crust in the corner of her eyes. I thought this was normal, having never had rabbits before. Later, I read that eye and nose discharge are signs of illness in rabbits. Is my rabbit sick? I know they hide their symptoms, but she seems healthy other than the discharge. Should I go to the vet? I have a limited budget as I'm only 15, but I could afford it..How critical is a vet visit for my rabbit's condition? also, what condition IS it??

Was it irresponsible of the breeder to sell me an ill rabbit without my knowledge?

Thanks so much.

  1. My rabbit, which we just got two weeks ago, is not eating and is getting skinny.  She has been sick for a day and a half.  She doesn't show any other signs of illness.  PLEASE HELP!
