Side bangs...hair dressers and ppl who know about hair?

how do i cut my own side bangs?? after my hair is wet do i part it inthe middle grab a chunk of hair and cut? or what? plz answer!!!! best answer 10 pointsss

Style your hair like you would be wearing it normally. Don't cut your bangs bluntly across; they should be tapered. Bangs are very easy to cut yourself; grab a photo of some bangs you like and copy it if you need to. Cut them longer at first and adjust them if you need to...you can always trim more if you want to, but you can't grow back hair you chopped off. :) For bangs I allllllllwaaaayys cut them dry, because when you cut them wet and then dry them, they'll be a little shorter than you expected. well im no expert but here is wat I would do...

get it completly wet and then use a cob to like make a bit of a side part okay? wat u do is comb from the back to the front like diagonaly... not all ur hair just the part u want to be bangs and take ur finger and do that thing with to fingers... one on each side of the hair and slide it down to wear u want the bangs and just cut... then u take ur sissors vertically and just like cut little piecies off.. idk how to explain it um http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOAAI3D31...
