i had my baby in early january 6 weeks later i went to my ob and i went on the pill. I was horrible at taking the pill It was hard for me to take care of my newborn and remember to take the pill every day. I dont know i just couldnt do it. So then in late march i went on the depo shot and 3 months later i went on the patch since the depo was making me feel depressed, bloated and anxious. I have been on the patch since mid july (15th) so every tuesday is when i change my patch. on the 5th is when i took my last patch off so that i could get my period. well on the 9th on went on vaycay and totally forgot to get a refill to my patch perscription. i didnt get back till the 17th and ever since then my bf and i have been intimate a lot. i went to the pharmacy and put the 1st patch for this cycle on tuesday the 19th. the next day in the morning i started feeling really nauseated. and now i am feeling soo dizzy. i've noticed i have lost my appetite. could this be the hormones from the patch? i know i could probably be pregnant but i think its too soon for me to start feeling anything. with my last pregnancy i didnt start feeling nauseated until i was 4 months or so. the only thing i noticed is that i was super tiered from the time i "conceived" but i havent been tiered just really nauseas and lost of appetite. has anyone had an experience similar to this. i would love to be able to test right now but i dont think i would get accurate results since its too early.

or maybe its just because i threw my cycle of guard since i didnt wear a patch for a whole week my hormones are on wack. what do you guys think????

  1. The doctor can order you a blood test to test your hormones. This can happen before the urine test would come back positive. You might want to take off the patch until you find out so there is a lesser chance of the hormones doing something to the egg if you are pregnant. Don't listen to people about your birth control choice, I was on the patch until I became allergic to the glue and went onto the ring. I too couldn't remember to take my pill. The chances of you dying from the patch is really low unless you are over 35 years old and smoke. Remember the pill carries the same risks so make that personal decision for yourself

  2. well if you think you could be pregnant which is a good chance of then you shouldnt of went back on the patch.i use evra patch and when ive taken breaks or forgot to change it i never notice any difference and always use condoms just to be safe. you should just take off the patch do a test if you dont get a period and if your not pregnant start off a fresh with patches again

  3. Why are you taking the patch?  Don't you know they cause BIG blood clots and been known latel to kill women.  Get an alarm clock if you have to to take the pill!  It may be convenient but it's dangerous!

  4. BIG BIG blood cloths an Death so plz don't get on the patch.

I've heard so many stories an know someone whos in the hosptial right now an they don't know if she's going to make it. Then about 2 years ago a girl drop dead in school an they found out it was from ORTHO EVRA PATCH

  5. I used the patch after my first child.  mine fell off two days before i was suppost to go a week without.  my husband and i decided we wanted another baby so i just never put one back on.  Then i was pregnant before my next period.  so i would get tested as soon as you can.  and i am currently pregnant with my third baby and was tired, nauseous, and lost my appetite all together before i was able to test.
