Side-effects of benidryl??

A lot of people get drowsy after taking it, but some people get hyper (that's me).  It can give you a very dry throat, nose and mouth (not everyone and not always).  Just be sure you're not allergic before taking it.

I think that the biggest side effect is drowsiness but I always advise people to take Benadryl when they are ready to go to sleep.

Benadryl usually makes me sleepy right away so if there are other side effects, they don't affect me.

Drowsiness and dry mouth are the most frequent side effects. Other less frequent side effects are blurred vision, urinary retention (difficult urination-dangerous if you have an enlarged prostate or some other bladder obstruction), increased heart rate and a worsening of narrow angle glaucoma.
