Question:

Side effects to numbing drug?

I went to the dentist and got some fillings. The dentist injected me with some numbing medicine and everything was fine. Now that I'm home I'm very drowsy, confused, nauseous, light-headed, and my heart keeps beating irregularly and I'm having trouble typing. Is that normal? What's going on?

  1. It is not normal, but neither is it known side effects.

Sounds like something else is going on.

    An allergic reaction, possibly?

Call your dentist, regular MD or the ER and ask an expert.
