My left side has been hurting since 9 this morning. Its one of those sharp pains where it hurts to breathe out, walk, or move really. Right now it is throbbing to the point where im almost in tears, and currently it really hurts when i inhale. Ive felt really nauseaous during the day also. What the **** could this be? If this helps any, its like right on my side near the back side of my ribs, like right where hips would begin. I would really appreciate any help, I dont know if itll go away or if I need med attention

  1. Here would be my train of thought.

1.Have you been drinking plenty of water? Not sodas.

Have you been peeing normally? (not dark, and with normal frequency)

Does it burn when you pee?

If you aren't peeing enough, even though you are drinking plenty, it could be kidney stone, or something along that line. Especially if there is any blood present.

If it burns when you pee, it could be a urinary tract infection. Cleared up by an antibiotic.

    2. Are you sexually active?

If you are not and none of the stuff up above applied, it could be an ovarian cyst. They can be a problem if they rupture or put pressure on something.

If you are sexually active, it could be an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. That could be a life threatening condition.

Any way you look at it, It wouldn't hurt to go get checked out. It might be something serious, or nothing much.

  2. You need to see a doctor. You could be constipated, have a cyst on your ovary, have a kidney stone. You get it checked out.

  3. it can be an ovarian cyst so u should c a doctor and get an ultrasound

  4. I have had similar pains a very good resource for helping to find out medical answers is www.webmd.com. I would say you might have a kidney infection. At the worst you might have a kidney stone. If not I would suggest thinking woman issues. Possibly severe cramping due to your menstrual cycle? Go to web Md and look up your symptoms or look up kidney infection and see if your symptoms relate. If your problems get worse though you should definitly see your doctor.
