Sidekick 2, Battery Or Water Damage?

Today I tried charging my sidekick 2 ,at first it cut on then it cut off. How can I tell if its water damage Or the battery? Wheres the water damage strip at?

well wouldnt u know if it had water damage? just take it 2 a dealer and have them check it out.

Usually the strip is on the bottom side of the battery.  For Verizon phones, they turn "pink" when experiencing water damage to the battery.
