Sidekick 2008 vs. Slide?

I'm trying to decide between a Sidekick 2008 or a Sidekick Slide. I would prefer a 2008, but i'm scared that the swivel screen will break off.

Does anyone who has a 2008 or an lx know how durable the swivel screen is?

i used to have a 2008 and that thing was super huge and i hated the swivel screen, got the slide now and its much smaller and does the exact same thing and is cheaper!
